Every day, families across Atlanta face unexpected circumstances that prevent them from providing a safe, happy home for their children. They are hard-working people you encounter on a daily basis – servers, teachers’ aides, health care assistants, bus drivers, etc. – and you can help!

For families with limited income, an unexpected illness, job change or similar crisis can drain their resources and lead to a downward spiral that ends in homelessness. BCM was created to help people in crisis, primarily the working poor, meet their immediate basic needs and make lifestyle changes that result in financial stability.

Each year, BCM provides food, clothing, rent and utility assistance, new worker support, life-skills training, money management education and mentoring to more than 8,500 people of all faiths who reside in 15 zip codes throughout metro Atlanta.
