Jaylyn is a single mother of three. Her five year-old daughter has a neurological disorder, and has to be in a wheelchair. Recently, Jaylyn had to buy a wheelchair accessible car so she can drive her daughter to and from speech, physical therapy and other appointments. The cost of the car, insurance and gasoline combined with medical bills, almost sent her into homelessness. Through The 70/30 Project, Jaylyn reduced her monthly expenses, learned to budget, paid off over $3,000 in debt and acquired the skills to be self-sufficient.
