PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW ALL INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE BEGINNING THE APPLICATION.
The Budget for Life Program is a year-long financial education program for working individuals and families. The program begins in January and ends in December. Budget for Life focuses on helping participants build the skills, knowledge, and habits to become financially stable. Program participants must commit to program policies and are required to make significant changes to their spending and financial behavior.
The first half of the program focuses on debt reduction. If participants follow all program guidelines and make the required payments towards their debt or to savings, BCM can make payments towards the participants’ rent/mortgage and utility bills on a sliding scale. The second half of the program focuses on saving and career development.
The Budget for Life Program is a competitive program that has a limited number of spaces available. For that reason, not all applicants are selected to participate. COMPLETING AN APPLICATION DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFY THE APPLICANT FOR AN INTERVIEW. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted by a Budget for Life staff member.
If you answered YES to ALL, proceed to the APPLICATION.
If you answered NO to ANY of the questions, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE PROGRAM.
