Named for BCM’s guiding scriptures, the following clubs are one way BCM honors individuals, families, businesses and family foundations who have made a special commitment to preventing hunger and homelessness in metro Atlanta. Membership is based on cumulative annual giving and is automatically calculated unless otherwise requested.

The Samaritan Society

The Samaritan Society honors those neighbors who have cared for strangers by donating $5,000 or more in the calendar year. “…‘Which of these three would you say was a neighbor to the man who was attacked by bandits?’ Jesus asked. The man replied, ‘The one who showed him mercy.’ Then Jesus said, ‘Yes, now go and do the same.’” Luke 10:25-37

The 25:35 Circle

The 25:35 Circle honors those who have cared for “the least of these” by donating $2,535 or more during the calendar year. “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink … Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:35-40

The 15:11 Circle

The 15:11 Circle honors those who have been “openhanded to the poor and needy” by donating $1,511 or more in the calendar year. “There will always be poor people in the land…be openhanded to the poor and needy.” Deut. 15:11

Our Leadership Giving Societies allow BCM to serve the working poor.  These societies were established to honor those who donate at certain levels.

We would love for you to join one of our societies.  For more information, email Michelle Krompegal, Director of Development, or call 404-239-0058, ext. 124.
